The farmhouse consists of two apartments. The decor is of a rural Egyptian nature. It is located in a quiet agricultural area suitable for weekends and short stays (transportation available). It has a spacious garden and places for children and groups. Activities available: barbecues, milking cows, herding sheep, riding donkeys, fishing, etc. Families and small groups are welcome. Pets are allowed. Unmarried couples and alcohol are not allowed. A farmer's family is present for help.

The space

Enjoy the Egyptian rural nature away from the noise and pollution of the city. The farm is near to desert road (Cairo-Alex). Enjoy traditional rural cooking methods such as baking and grilling. Taste different dishes such as ducks, geese, rabbits, pigeons and meat and serving a whole lamb or a goat for large numbers of guests (for extra fees). The farm is not far from the north coast (Medetranean sea), about 60-70 kilometers away from the seashore. Day trips can be arranged to spend time there. There are many recreational places on the Desert Road near to the farm and trips can be arranged to these places too (Extra Fees).

Guest access

The entire house and farm are accessible to guests, and the animal quarters are accessible but in presence of the guardian. Short car safaris can be arranged on the sandy roads around the farm.

Other things to note

The house is located in a rural area and the local shops close a little after sunset so it is advisable to purchase anything from the village before then. Two kitchens are available at the house and guests can cook for themselves. Lunches and dinners should be ordered early to allow time for preparation (for an additional fee). Catering for large groups should be agreed upon one day before (for an additional fee). Clinics and pharmacies are available in nearby villages.
