8am - 12pm
Enjoy some juice and a little bite and save your appetite for later. Today, you will have a very traditional Alexandrian breakfast. We will take the double Decker bus to Manshia Square, the central part of old Alexandria. Manshia originated as the meeting place of consuls back in 1834. It hosts the statue of Mohamed Ali, founder of Modern Egypt in the center of the square since 1871 and was the first statue to be mounted in a public square in a Muslim city. Enjoy a standing breakfast of several items that the locals eat for breakfast including the most famous; Falafel and Fava beans. Having breakfast while standing in front of a cart. Later enjoy black tea with mint in a local cafe. Our photography workshop today is about street photography and how to capture amazing moments from everyday life. The streets of Manshia offer vivid and diverse choices of Markets, shops and streets. We will spend time strolling in the market, capturing these moments and truly get to present our own comprehension of the local culture via our lenses.

12:30pm - 5:00pm
We will move in a traditional horse carriage along the seashore of Alexandria, admiring the corniche and the buildings along the coast until we reach the Greek Club. It is time to indulge yourself with a delicious meal in this restaurant that is still managed by members of the Greek community in Alexandria. The restaurant has a spectacular view of the eastern harbor of Alexandria as well as Qaitbay Citadel. After lunch, you will get to visit Qaitbay citadel, which was built on the ruins of the ancient lighthouse. Continue for a walk in the old Turkish complex with the fish market street until your reach Abu El Abass mosque, considered to be which is considered one of the remarkable architectural monuments in Alexandria with a Moorish style. Afterwards, capture the sunset by the beachside. Later, and later take the double decker bus back to your hotel.

Montazah Garden, Abuqir area
This is where King Farouk, the last king in Egypt history, had his summer house. The garden itself has diverse flowers and plants and would offer you a great opportunity to spend some time walking through the gardens enjoying a unique surroundings designed and executed for kings & the queens to enjoy. Afterwards, move to visit Abuqir area. This Abuqir is the furthest eastern point in Alexandria and was the location of the ancient city of Canopus. Abuqir bay witnessed the famous battle between Napoleon army and the British forces led by the famous Admiral Nelson. Lunch will be served in a restaurant overlooking the bay.
After lunch, spend time walking around the fishermen part in the harbor and enjoy watching them producing their nets and boats. Feel free to initiate conversations with them and know more or even take part in their daily activities).

Down Town
Back to Alexandria downtown and head to “Malek El Saman” Restaurant (King of quails), this restaurant specializes in serving Pigeons and Quails grilled and/or stuffed & served in a traditional way. After dinner, continue on a night walking tour heading to the famous Bahari where we will enjoy a traditional dessert called “Om Ali” (the mother of Aly). There are many theories that are all back to medieval time on the reason this dessert was given such a name but none of them is 100% confirmed. Yet, this will not thinned how delicious this dessert is. It consists of puff pastry, milk, coconut and various nuts and kernels. A combination that results in a yummy end product and considered a purely Egyptian
Dessert. Back to your accommodation

Apis village visit
After breakfast, transfer to your accommodation in Apis village. This is the Apis is a countryside part of Alexandria. The name Apis comes from the Serapis god in ancient Hellenistic Alexandria. This will be your accommodation for the coming days. Spend some time familiarizing yourself with the surroundings and your local neighbors. A traditional country house lunch will be served to you. This will include several authentic countryside cuisine. After lunch, you will have tea and start a walk around to the nearby lake. There, you can either fish, kayak or simply relax by the lake and watch the local fishermen and their activities.
Dinner will be served in your accommodation later.

Apis Village
After a delicious breakfast that has molas, white honey and barata puff pastry. You will start your day to explore the agricultural field. Spend today with the farmers and their diverse activities; from caring for their domestic kettle, to daily land maintenance and collecting fruits and vegetables. This day will offer you with an insight to a simple yet tranquil life
lunch that will be served in a in the picnic style in the field . After lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit a local beekeeper and see how they collect the honey.. If you feel adventurous enough, put on the protecting suit and give it a try yourself.
Later return to your accommodation for rest. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or you have the option to attend a workshop for creating handmade crafts in the Egyptian style.
